So I worked really hard on getting disbergsdepot.com SEO compliant. Then realized I was really fed up with the exercise. I still had 4 more websites to do the same exercise with. I don’t think so…not right now anyways. I keep thinking how this feature could be improved, or I find another feature to add and so on. It is just my mind in overload.
So I decided to review all the programs I had joined and which ones I still worked with. They are in the 100’s. The last time I had a computer crash was in 2007. I didn’t get to keep the programs I had worked with prior to that and I didn’t try to recover them either. Why? Nothing had particularly worked for me so I just kept moving on.
One thing I have started to do though is keep the names of the people that are sponsoring these programs, so I don’t duplicate the error of their ways. They have an odd mind set so I put character notes with their names and the programs they are promoting. When I come across the next best thing to sliced bread program again, I check my list. It saves time and duplication of getting involved with cash cow sucking programs they are always thinking up. Gotta hand it to these boys and girls… they are good.
Now take Tom Bekker. He is supposed to be out of the Netherlands. He writes a great presentation while offering a super program. So I paid my dues, signed up, and got…nothing. Right. $120 bucks out the window. Tried to contact support to advise them – nothing. No customer support. “Help” generates a loop where you go round and round without any response.
Of course he belongs to Aweber so if you try to respond to his emails you get a non-delivery notice. Then I got a telemarketing phone call saying that Tom Bekker wanted to help me and was featuring a NEW program that I should definitely get signed up to as well. Aah Huh. I inquired how be I could get the first program I signed up with him first. Well they didn’t know anything about that and anyways this new program was so much better. Did I miss something here? Well that phone call got downright ugly but I must have won as they never called me back, if you can call that winning.
I have only had phone calls from one website in response to my “Support Ticket” that was really genuine. That was with ApSense. Apparently this website is generated from China and one of the owners phoned one of the members in the U.S. to respond to my inquiry as it would be much faster. He identified himself and went on to tell me how to fix the issue I had come across. Now that is service. It is a business networking system that I quite enjoy which has many features to play with and shows up in Google almost immediately. So it is very useful.
