I wanted to Blog from the first one I read. That goes back a couple of years ago. There were two issues I encountered which prevented me from making my blog.
I signed up with two separate Blogs and for the life of me, couldn’t figure them out. I spent hours trying to make them work. Oh, sure I got a few posts up but they were nothing I was proud of so deleted them. I think there is still one blog with a post on it floating around in hinter-space. I come across it now and then and I still can’t figure out how to delete it. It seems to be cloaked somehow.
My other challenge was having enough thoughts to fill my websites and then a Blog. Most times the Blog got left out as the material I was thinking about suited my websites too. Much of my websites are content and actually there was very little advertising or programs until June 2009.
That was when I decided it was time to either get serious about being on the Internet or to pack it up. It does get expensive after awhile and especially just doing it as a hobby, cause really that was what I was doing, telling myself all the while I was in business.
The thought never crossed my mind to outsource content for a Blog and I still don’t do it. I guess I have just developed a method to address both the Blog and my websites.
I have started this Blog with two main gripes and then recording my experiences as I have grown with the Internet. I am sure we share some of the same experience. I hope it will help some folks to avoid some of the dumb things I got involved with. I also hope that some of the lessons I learned will make them aware of some of the coursesof action to avoid.
If you want to travel my experiences sequentially start at the beginning … 2010, it will make more sense as it is a “blonde” story.
Happy Blogging to all Bloggers.
